Elecraft Mini-module kit enclosures
All of the mini-module enclosures are made of Lexan, a polycarbonate, which is very strong. It also has a UV blocking coating on one side and is assembled carefully with this side on the outside of the enclosure. Lexan is more shatterproof than acrylic (Plexiglass etc.) but is more prone to scratching than acrylic. Since my design goal was to use the enclosures for portable field applications, being exposed to dropping and falling off a table, I decided to go with the strength of a polycarbonate material.
Currently, designs exist for the following Elecraft mini-module kits:
- W1 140W Computing Wattmeter and SWR Bridge
- AF1 Active Filter with Audio Amplifier
- DL1 Wideband 20W Dummy Load
- BL2 Wideband 1:1 & 4:1 (Switchable) 250W Balun
